Product representation

Hand-woven and hand-dyed fabrics vary slightly between pieces. The photographs we show are taken in neutral light and are as accurate as we can make them, but real-world appearance may differ by approximately 5% (variation in dye, weave, and finish).

If the variation in your delivered piece is significantly more than this, please contact us within 7 days of delivery — we will work with you to resolve it under our returns policy.

Custom-stitch outcomes

Custom-stitched pieces are made to the measurements you provide. We confirm measurements with you before stitching begins. We do our best to follow your measurements precisely, but pieces may vary by ±1 cm in any dimension due to fabric behaviour. Persistent fit issues are addressed via lifetime re-tailoring at our cost.

Our journal posts, occasion guides, and founder essays reflect the views of the author at the time of writing. They are not legal, medical, or professional advice. Cultural references about traditions and occasions are best-effort summaries — practices vary widely by region, community, and family.

Cluster + craft information

Information about weaver clusters and crafts (lead times, techniques, weaver count, working conditions) is based on our direct relationships and best available information. Heritage attribution (e.g. “500+ years on the loom”) describes the regional craft tradition, not necessarily an unbroken individual lineage.
